I was thinking of starting a small game around andrew bird's lyrics, it's called Duetry.
It's a kind of a cross-over between duet and poetry, except that it wouldn't be exactly a duet since more than two people
are supposed to play...
the idea is more or less to write poetry with several hands, while some rules have to be respected.
Each post is supposed to be a 4 stences part where the writer has to use one predefined rhyme and insert a new one
(I sure hope I'm making myself clear enough !)
suppose the first post is written according to the following rhyme scheme :
aabb
then the following should use
bbcc
and then
ccdd
or any possible variation as long as you keep the new rhyme and insert an new one
but I'd like to insert another rule :
the written story (for it'll certainly be funnier if the result is some kind of story) should relate to andrew bird' universe
... one should find hints to his songs (with more or less subtlety...)
that's the all you should need to know to play...
ok, here I go, whoever wants to give it a try is welcome to write the sequel....(and whoever manages to place a fake palyndrom wins the palm)
the morning sun revealed a curious scene :
three characters and a cracked teapot
around a table the shape of a violin.
Conversation and infusion they liked a lot...
note, since it's the first verse you can pick any of the two rhymes you wish
