"The band is doing some good things for the planet while on the road with the help of nonprofit group Reverb to lessen the environmental impact of the tour. Andrew's tour bus will be fueled with biodiesel, a more eco-friendly fuel derived from vegetable oil, and each concert will be a "carbon neutral" event thanks to renewable energy offsets provided by Native Energy. Concertgoers will have an opportunity to join Andrew's eco-efforts by purchasing designated merchandise items, with the proceeds going to neutralize the emissions created from fan travel to and from the shows. Backstage, the greening continues via eco-friendly food service items in Andrew's contract rider, reducing plastic water bottle waste, and recycling wherever possible. Greening elements of the tour are being made possible thanks to the support of Stonyfield Farm, an organic food company who advocate that healthy food can only come from a healthy planet. Thanks Stonyfield, you are delicious! Also, please note - If you buy advance tickets via the presale, you will have a chance to donate a small amount to fund renewable energy programs to offset the emissions of your travel to and from the show. "
how nice!
